The asset valuations, which are also required by law every 10 years, not only review the existing technical inventories, so in addition to clarifying the technical records, the experts also carry out on-site inspections to check the technical condition of existing assets, but also modify the database structure and assign additional unique asset identifiers to objects as requested by the operator.
The project comprised a complex asset analysis of the drinking water supply system of 15 municipalities, including the county town of Pécs, supplemented by a detailed assessment of the expected replacement needs over the next 50 years, based on re-supply costs, to support the reconstruction planning.
As a result of this work, all municipal assets providing drinking water supply can be entered into the municipalities' books on the basis of itemised records, with sufficient detail and unique asset identifiers.
