The existing wastewater treatment plant should have been intensified, because the owner, Xelia Pharmatuticals started manufacturing a new product, and the organic contaminant part of the wastewater was predicted to double.
The cleaning line was the following: buffering, pH adjustment, mechanical cleaning, SBR type aerobe activated sludge technology.
The pre-treated wastewater gets discharged to the existing municipal sewer network.
As it is shown in the followings the technology can securely meet the requirements.
